You Mad Andre Johnson

This happened earlier in the day during the Titans-Texans NFL game, where Texans WR Andre Johnson throws down vs Titans CB Cortland Finnegan, and both players were ejected from the game, and probably miss the next game as well

My Life as I See It - Thanksgiving Day Prayer

First off, Happy Thanksgiving Dsy to everyone, although its is only done in the United States during this time of year, other countries do have a similar celebration of thanks during another part of the year. Now Im not one to say grace at the dinner table or praise God before a meal, which I feel is totally cool if you do, but I'm not one of those guys. Nothing real serious, but during a pre thanksgivings function with a group of close friends, a few people had a few words to say, and they were thankful for meeting each other and what not. Now I didn't say anything because I feel that it is a serious matter, and shouldn't be taken lightly, or get to the point.

Now this is probably what I would say at the table to my friends before we start eating:

Hey Heang, hope all is well. I'm doing good tonight, and I hope your family is doing great, as they miss you as much as we all do. I know you watching over us, and just to let you know, everything I do, I do for two, for both me and you, so I could share the stories with you when we get to next meet. I love you and miss you friend. (THIS IS A MONOLOGUE JUST TO SAY WHAT UP TO MY LOST FRIEND)...

Dear God, or whoever you believe, we thank you for bringing us together to enjoy this fine meal that is brought to us with love and appreciation of each other. We are blessed to know that each and everyone gathered here is part of each of our lives, and the food here is nourishment to provide the energy to keep us going, so we can enjoy the memories that had already been made with one another, and for the future that lies ahead, as we will all be together ready to travel that road called life. With the good, bad, happy and sad, we are glad for this evening, we all share this experience together.

Preach! [Now this is something that been in my head for the past couple of weeks leading up to this day, although not the exact script, but something close to this]

My Life As I See It - Guy Speak

Being a male myself, I have been known to say some silly stuff when I'm alone, and ever more so when I'm with other guys, and especially with my close friends. This could happen sober, serious intoxicated in any kind of way, drugged out, high, drunk, some kind of wasted, doesn't really matter. Topics ranged from common interests like sports, games , girls, etc, to would you rather type of shit. One example goes a lil something like the following convo:

Dude 1 - Aye, would you fuck a girl if she was really fine, but had no hands?
Dude 2 - Like a nub, or just missing her hands?
D1- Just no hands, everything else is good.
D2 - Is she a white girl?
D1- Sure, doesn't matter, she whatever, thats not the point though...
D2 - So she like really really hot, like I would want to fuck her if she did had hands?
D1 - Well no shit, 'course I would if she was normal chick, but I'm saying bitch has no hands...
D2 - ummm... I guess I would, but it would be weird to me
D1 - Of course, thats the point, but hey, if she could suck a dick too, that works for me...
D2 - True that.

Now you may be thinking "(Really) What the Fuck" but its true. Now this is just a simple example of what is said, but this really goes along the lines, and probably in more extreme choices, that under rational thought, would never deal with. We think of a lot of random dumb shit constantly, and talk about it with those who are close to us, cause it doesn't seem as odd as if you just met a total stranger and talked to him about it. However, in the right setting, that conversation wouldn't be as far fetched, and its amusing how serious the topic could get, or how it can go from one subject to a whole different tangent, and be like, "How did it get to this point?"

I had a friend who happens to be female asked me and my friends how we hold our penis when we pee. She gave a couple of options (cup it or hold it like its a cigarette). Her boyfriend seem a bit embarrassed to say anything, and thought that the rest of us wouldn't tell her. He was wrong, and we told her straight up. Most of us had to think about it for a moment, but it just one of daily routines that you do without much thought. I said one thing, only to realize that I really in fact do it the other way.

I guess the point I'm gettin at is what one thinks about and how comfortable they are about it when they are around people who they feel share a similar opinion, and how confident they are to present it to others. A lot of intresting stuff has been discuss with my and my friends when we just "shoot the shit" chillin together.

Song came out back in 2001, probably one of my favorite joints, even today. This is the uncensored version, thank goodness, and even a cameo from Pat O Brian from Access Hollywood(or one of them types of shows) and Fred Durst from Limp Bizkit

Talib Kweli - Get By

My Life as I See It - Intro

As I celebrate another year of my life, and plan on many more to come, I began to realized that I wasn't getting any younger either, and that the next phrase of my life was underway. Although it doesn't seem like anytime soon, before I know it I'll settle down and have a family of my own to love and care for as well as those people who have been supportive of me along the way [DAMN].

I was going to do one big epic blog to reflect and reveal my thoughts and reflection on life, but then realize that would take a life time to do, so I decided to instead do it bit by bit, piece by piece, and also adapt and adjust along the way. It would take a life time to really get into, and things change along the way. It would also be a lot to read, so probably wouldn't be good to do all at once anyways.

If you follow this blog, you noticed my hat collection, and how I like to have a lot of hats. I like to have options, and diversity in the choices of what to wear as a major part of my clothing. For the most part, I'll be the only person, or select few to wear a hat when going out, so that helps me stand out from the rest of my peers, for better and worse. I like to chose different colorways and patterns, as I try to avoid wearing the same hat that everyone else would have [i.e. a NY Yankees game day Navy joint]. I also like to chose different logos and designs that you wouldn't typically find in your average hat. Different patterns and materials for the hat is now something I really looking into, such as wool vs cotton hat, among other

There has been a couple of situations where alcohol has impaired my better judgment, and drunk talk rage came out at a couple of ladies, separate, but still don't vividly recall the details, but cause them to be upset. I did apologizes to them, and I feel horrible about it since these were girls that I knew for a while, but not close enough or familiar enough to go flip out on them. That is a concern of my as I feel that sober. This consist of one situation sayin "Fuck You" for no particular reason and she didn't say anything that would normally piss me off, so that was out of the random. The other time was telling her off that she wasn't going to get a drink for me, at which point I guess she flipped out and ranted about it, which I really dont even know happened, since I was too drunk and enjoying myself, so I didn't really pay attention to it; til after the fact that my friends mention it to me. I wouldn't get out of line, and would be too quiet to really lash out to anybody like that, and that with drinking, that would make me talk reckless and offend somebody, which could escalate into a problem, resulting into a physical confrontation, or worse. Once again, I dont even remember how it went down, but I do regret for the results that occur and didn't mean to offend anybody. While I do feel horrible for it, I can't recall the details behind it. I'm just goin to make my peace, and look to move on and grow from these experiences.

These are just a couple of thoughts that I would like to share with you guys. Moving forward, I'll try to make a point to do this once or twice a week with various thoughts, options, and situations that I can reflection upon, to go along with what I have already been doing on my blog. I'll usually end each session with something to quote on

"Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the "present.'" (Master Oogway from Kung Fu Panda, although probably from someone else too)

Rest in Peace Dave Niehaus

Throwback Pic - Homecoming 2001 Guys

Back Row: Simon, Duke, Joe, Winston, Tony
Front: Eddie, myself

This was taken with I believe a Polaroid Camera (like the ones you would shake it right after for the pic to develop for a few seconds) on Homecoming night before picking up our dates. Photo was taken at my house. Went to dinner at Cutters at the Pier, and then went to the dance at school. Good memories with good people, way back in the day
