Recap of my 2012

Now I know I haven't been blogging as much as I would like to, but I figure I might as well let the world in a few things about the year that was 2012.

Work: I have been working with the same company for the past 5 years, and been at the same location, and been doing the same job for the past 2 and a half years. I've attempted to move up within the company, but just hasn't worked as as well as I would have like. Back in September, I talked with my manager and we agreed that I would work til the end of the year while they find a replacement. I felt at that time that it wasn't going to get any better working there and I didn't want to be stuck doing the same thing for a long time.
December 14, I have a chat with my market manager (my manager's boss pretty much) comes and talks to me about transferring to another location working closer to home. He also told me that although I been with the company for years, that it was still too soon to leave and start over, and that he saw a future with the company. So I have been helping out at a different branch for the past couple of weeks, but working fewer hours.
I will be working at my new location at the start of the new year, and I hope I can continue to grow and feel better about work. Not that it was ever bad, or something I hated, but I just didn't want to be content to staying in the same job. I look forward to a change of scenery and I feel that I will excel and grow from here on out.

Health: Had a bit of a scare after Thanksgiving cause I was experiencing some chest pains that lasted for days. I was really worried cause it was all day and all night, making it difficult to sleep. I went to my physician for my "annual check-up", although it has been a few years since I've been to the doctor's office. I told him about my chest pains, but he said it was the muscles and not my heart, which I was really worry about. Most likely it was just from the "turkey bowl" game with my high school friends, and just took longer to get over the aches and soreness cause I'm not getting any younger. Although I did find out that I do have an elevated blood pressure. For now it isn't diabetes, but I do have a family history.
I have been doing light workouts daily, just to keep it moving, and not live a sedate lifestyle forever. That has been a big factor in my current health. I'm not looking for rapid improvements and intense workouts, cause I feel I that once I get done with that, that I would revert back and be back at square one, which is something I dont want to do.

My Blog: I haven't blog as much as I used too, and been a long time since I done any "Fitted of the Day" videos. I do plan to bring that back, and also do more random blogs and also will go back to write in a handwritten journal again, as I feel it will help improve my memory and retention skills, not that it was ever that bad.

There will be more that I would like to reflect upon this year, but I'll save that for another time.
