Fitted of the Day #114

New Era Hall of Fame " Lockup Nautical Stripes" Yellow/White Sz 7 3/8

Muslim Version of Religion vs God

This is going to be an interesting set of discussion, but more thought provoking that "Shit People Say".... Although there are many different beliefs and interpretations, at the end of the day, we all believe something, and we all live and die, and enjoy life along the way.

Best of Scared Straight 1999

I was about 15 years old when I saw this on MTV back in 1999, and I  found it to be very real, but real funny at the time cause how these kids were trying to act tough and hard, but they got pwned by the lifers before pwned was a term haha.

This was shown with the graphic language, but this is just a 4 min clip that highlights the show

My Life As I See It - Drunken Nights Countdown #4

I know its been a while since the previous one, but figure we start 2012 off with the next installment of my drunk ass stories.

#4: Smeli's 25th Birthday in Seattle

Back on October 25, 2008, this took place on a Saturday night to celebrate another one of Melissa's birthdays (which was a few days prior), but since more people could hang out, it was planned for the weekend, so more people could drink.

This was a last minute decision, and if it wasn't for the fact that it was for a good friend's birthday celebration, I probably would of have just stay home and have an uneventful evening by myself. I got a phone call from Tony and figure I would come out, and tag along with him and Lica, and meet up some other kids along the way there.

We met up Melissa and a bunch of her friends, some I knew, most I didn't at the time at one of her friend's apartment complex in Seattle  near Belltown. They reserved the lounge area so there was food and drinks, and people were drinking there and mingling for a while. Melissa's boyfriend at the time, Vic, started to offer drinks to me, and of course I accepted, thinking it was only goin to be like one or two, just to get the night started.

Vic is cool peoples to me, and still is, although we dont really see each other as much, but everytime I see that kid, I feel like I'm goin to drink a lot. Cause I try to hang with the guy shot for shot, and usually ends up bad... but back to the story

We proceed to take like 4 or 5 shots of Grey Goose and Crown Royale in a short timeframe, and at that point, I feel drunk, but still aware of what is going on around me. I try to eat one some finger foods and chill for a bit.

The birthday girl

We then went to her friend's apartment so we could chill a lil longer and have birthday cake. I didn't eat the cake, just cause I not too big on sweets like that. I remember seeing a few more familiar faces, but then this is the 'beginning of the end' of my evening.

There was this girl that I didn't know who was there, and we started talking, about what I have no clue, but from the looks of the pictures that my friend took on my camera, it could of been for a good while. This is somewhat out of character for me in the fact that I don't usually approach a girl, let alone talk to them for an extended time, since I would consider myself a shy guy and don't really start the conversation, although that is when I'm sober. I mean, she was cute and all, but when I was looking though the pictures a few days later, I was asking my friend like "who the fuck is this girl and what the fuck is goin on here?"

Hi Faye!

At around 11pm, we left the apartment to the venue at Twilight Lounge (not that was the name of the spot before the movies came out, and before the books got mainstream). Got in the spot, and noticed a few of my buddies there that I haven't seen in a while. I ordered a round of shots (like 5-6 shots of Courvoisier, although I had to get a Crown shot cause one of them didn't want it. So we took the shot and that would be the last thing I remember doing for that evening.

I think I last all of 10 mins inside there cause I started to vomit all over the place and lying on the corner. It was pretty damn bad, as you seen on the first picture at the beginning of this post.  My friends that I just brought shots a few minutes before helped dragged my ass out of the club. They drove me back to Tony's crib to pick up my car, and then they drove my car home, and put me to bed (thanks Pete and Pat).

I did throw up some more in Pat's car, and he has swore vengeance for doing so, but well, I rather not jinx myself, but it has yet to go down.

I woke up the next day, and my dad was asking me why the door was left unlocked, and I was just as confused as he was, cause I was trying to figure out what happened the night before. At least he didn't make a big deal out of it. As you know, will these stories, I give you the details as told from my friends as they fill me in cause I sure don't.

It would also be the last time I would wear that sweater, although it was a pretty good sweater, but Pete tried to be a homie and clean it and it shrunk cause its one of those that is dry clean only. I asked him about it but either he still has it as a memento for that night, but probably wont get it back again, or it got tossed.

Although I didn't do as much blogging as I would of liked to, it was just simply cause I was being lazy about it and didn't really care either. Hopefully it be a bit different in that regard, but we'll find out and see how it goes from here. Til the next episode...
