Ocean's 7 - Vegas Baby
This is a concept from Jermaine Dupri, being back the "Rat Pack" balling in Vegas and looking fly while wearing suits and ties. He has himself B.Cox, Johnta Austin, Nelly, Tyrone, Trey Songz, and Usher making the group of 7 artist. Bow Wow was suppose to be part of the group, but homie dont do suits (youngn state of mind). For more info, check out their website here
With a trip to Vegas with the homies in September, this is a video from them.

Take Me Out To The Ball Game...
On July 26, 2009, went to the Mariners Game at Safeco Field with my co-workers at the bank. It was a good time, but sucked that the Mariners lose to the Indians big time. Final score was 3-12. Overall, a very nice day, and very close to getting a baseball, like just out of my reach for the catch, and now a bruised shin from it. Here are some pics from the day.
My Wedding Song
Utada Hikaru & Shiina Ringo - I Won't Last A Day Without You [Live Performance]
This is a cover version done but two Japanese Pop Artist, although sung in English. This song was done by The Carpenters, which was a huge hit back in the 1970s. This song has been covered by many artist and karaoke covers over the years. I enjoyed this particular one, as I feel it is better than their album version.
When I first listened to this song a few years back, I was touched in a way that I knew that this would be a song I would play when I do get marry to the future "love of my life". Since Tony already claimed "Forever" by Jessie and the Rippers (yes, from Full House) as his wedding song, I picked another one, so kids wouldn't steal this idea from me.

Ghostface Killah feat U-God - Cher Chez La Ghost
Just one of them old school joints from back in my day. Also like the part with him in that robe and with the wrestling belt, like he just won the "chip" boy boy
Throwback pics - Random face mug
This was from Eric's crib in Bothell from a house party last year. This night is infamous for me since this is the last time I was seen with this particular hat on. Damn, I missed this hat too.

BATTLECRY
With UFC 100 coming this Saturday, it made me wonder. If I was a MMA fighter, what would be my entrance music? This is the one I picked, as it has elements of hip-hop and anime. A couple of my favorite things in life.
This song is called Battlecry
by: Nujabes feat Shing02
Also the opening theme song for the anime Samurai Champloo

Do you Smell What The Rock is Cookin...?
This was an article I found about Dwayne Johnson, but known as "The Rock" back from like 10 years ago, and some funny stuff, when even those who didn't watch wrestling knew about him.

Firework Display
Duke Tran on the footage, although I guess its a 3 part video. I wasn't there, but I find it more amusing to listen to my homies talk shit and act like they "bust a nut" during the show, rather than the actual fireworks display. (it was a nice show though)
This one was the "Show-Ender" or finale that my boys had themselves
A Two part clip of the show from somewhere else, that got them wildin out

Rest In Peace...
Steve McNair
Found dead in his home in Nashville, TN from a gunshot wound. My condolences goes out to his family
Hapy 4th of July
Its Independence Day, so that means a day off for most folks, Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Competition (which Joey Chestnut won, beating Kobayashi 68-64 dogs and buns), baseball games, bbqs, and fireworks. Too bad its illegal to light our own.
And let not forget the real reason we celebrate today, cause we aint own and colonized by the Brits. Let freedom ring.

A Quick Peace Corps Update
Got a call last week, thinking that it was an invite, but it was just a follow-up call to see if I was able to do it. After some discussing, and a misunderstanding, in the end, I am NOT, repeat, not leaving in August.
Target time of departure: 1st Quarter (Jan-Mar) 2010, and it possibly will be in Central Asia, or a whole 'nother place.
I'll keep you folks up to date as it comes up
